Being rated as one of the top beach destinations in the United States, Myrtle Beach is definitely one of the best spring and summer destinations. The stunning 60-miles of beautiful soft sandy beaches, the 200-feet Sky wheel at the boardwalk, the live entertainment, numerous exciting amusement parks and attractions, the acres of marvelous golf-courses, the beach has something for its every kind of visitor. It’s actually quite hard to not take advantage of everything it has to offer!!
But, of course, you do have a time constraint!! I had too!! Actually, I was supposed to complete my whole Myrtle Beach Trip in 3 days, but I extended it to another day; I just couldn’t resist it!! Ha ha!! So, do plan your trip and make a day-by-day things-to-do list before you travel, so that you can make the most of your visit within that limited time. Here’s a list of the places to include in your list that you can’t afford to miss,
Walk The Myrtle Beach Boardwalk:
This is one of the most beautiful boardwalk I have ever walked!! And at night, it just turns into a live club!! With varieties of shops and restaurants, the nightclubs, the attractions and the non stop celebrations, it’s a perfect place to shop, dine, dance, play and enjoy life!
Don’t Miss THE BOWERY:
Truly, you can’t beat the fun!! It’s over 67 years THE BOWERY has been entertaining millions of people with passionate live music every night!! They call it as the “the eighth wonder of the world!!”; and believe me – they justify it!! Note- you’ll need you ID card to enter.
The Myrtle Beach State Park:
Consisting of several miles of forest and stretching along the Atlantic Ocean, this state park is simply spectacular. The entrance is just $5 per person and don’t forget to bring your camera while visiting; you’ll simply enjoy photographing the landscapes here! You can spend your nights camping near the beach too!
The Brookgreen Gardens:
It’s voted as one of the Top 10 best public gardens in the U.S. by TripAdvisor!! This sculpture garden and wildlife preserve is a must-visit when you’re around!! Beautiful gardens, historical sites, butterfly house, native animals, world-renowned art, and there are lots more to explore at the Brookgreen Gardens with daily offered tours, exhibits and excursions.

- Murrells Inlet, located just 10 miles south from Myrtle Beach, is a historic fishing village famously known as ‘The Seafood Capital of South Carolina’. It’s a old-fashioned little town full of history and beautiful landscapes.
