The beautiful coastal Maine and their world-renowned delicious Maine Lobster – I must admit, I would never mind driving again those hundreds of miles, just to eat that kind of lobster!!! It was just so mouth-watering!!!
Did you know, Maine lobsters have won international fame for their flavor; and when I asked a local about the specialty of Maine lobster, he explains it to me this way – Maine lobster is a cold water lobster and they have whiter meat than warm water lobster which makes them more tastier!! This species of lobster is found on the Atlantic coast of America, mostly from Labrador, Canada to New Jersey, Maine being one the largest producers.
In Maine, lobster (I mean, Maine lobster – also called American lobster), is so plentiful and the best thing is, you don’t have to spend fortune to have memorable lobster feast. Lobster in Maine, are traditionally boiled or steamed and are served with plenty of drawn butter!! Believe me – they are the yummiest substances on the earth!! And you haven’t truly tasted lobster until you’ve tasted this traditional Maine Lobster in your life.
You know what the locals say, there’s a time of year when the meat from Maine Lobster is at its sweetest and that is, from mid-summer to mid-fall, because they shed their old shells and grow new tender ones. I think, I am lucky enough that I got to devour the world’s best species of lobster at its best seasonal taste!!
